     Turner's proudly promotes inline speed skating. We offer beginner speed skating classes every Tuesday. The instructor is the 2014 World Team Member Kirsten Helman.
Beginner speed class information:

• Day: Tuesday
• Time: 5:30-6:30pm (lesson)
• Cost: $5.00
• Includes: skates, lesson and evening session 6:30-8:30pm.

        The Mason-Dixon Roller Vixens (MDRV) area women's flat track roller derby league and a member of the Women's Flat Track Derby Association (WFTDA).We are fully tax-exempt under the 501(c)3 non-profit organization code with the Internal Revenue Service. Through charity and fundraising, we will continue to help fortify the amateur sport of roller derby.

   MDRV was formed in June 2007 and began skating at I-Skate 81 in Greencastle, P.A. The first two years were spent learning how to play professional roller derby, filling in game line-ups, doing introductions and exhibitions. By December 2009, we had completed our first full game season!

   In March 2010, MDRV became a part of the WFTDA Apprentice Program. Two years later, in March 2012, MDRV was inducted as a Class B member of WFTDA and has grown into Western Maryland’s premier women’s roller derby league. Our practices and home games are hosted at Turners Skate Palacein Hagerstown, MD.

     It's official USARS derby is coming to the tri-state area (this for guys and gals 18 and older). Turner's Skate Palace & Cosmic Skate & Play have joined forces to provide a place for practice.
